Zoya Rizvi
Faculty Advisor
Prof. Zoya Rizvi is an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at MPSTME. She actively promotes student engagement through extracurricular initiatives and serves as the faculty advisor to the DesignBuildFly (DBF) team, providing academic and logistical guidance.
Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in aerodynamics, her research focuses on drone design for agricultural applications, contributing to innovations in sustainable precision farming. She teaches core subjects like Engineering Drawing, Machine Drawing, and Aerodynamics and Flight Dynamics (AFD), and has mentored numerous final-year projects in CFD and aerodynamics, with several student research papers underway.
Prof. Rizvi is also deeply involved in curriculum development and student support, playing a vital role in strengthening the department’s academic and co-curricular ecosystem.Fun fact: She's passionate about drone applications in sustainable agriculture and environmental monitoring.
